Find and click on the audiobook you want to purchase as a gift. On the desktop site, more options, then click give as a gift. On the mobile site, tap on give as a gift.

Browse the store and tap on the audiobook that you want to buy. Tap buy with 1 credit. After making your purchase, your audiobook will be sent to the library section of the audible app, and an email confirming your purchase will be sent. Purchasing on the iphone and ipad visit the audible site and sign in. Go to the audible gift subscription page when buying audible credits as a gift, you first need to go to the audible gift subscription page. You can find it here. Choose the audible subscription length/number of books your next step is to choose the subscription length/number of books you would like to give. An audible gift membership is the perfect gift for both audible enthusiasts as well as those who have not yet discovered the joy of audiobooks.

Buying audiobooks on Audible is a bit confusing. The Audible app actually doesn't let you purchase audiobooks. You can only add to favorite or listen to a sample.

You'll have to buy Audible books on Amazon.com.
Simply go to Amazon.com and search for the book you want to listen to.

If it's available on Audible, you'll see an audiobook version available for it. You'll need to purchase that on Amazon. Once you do, you can open the audible app and download that book.
